Hello World!
Hi!
We are a married couple based in Bintaro, Jakarta.
After 3 years of marriage, in 2018, we were finally ready to move out of our parent's house to our own space. While shopping for groceries and other daily necessities, like all married couple, we started to have discussion about how to get more for less out of our daily shopping...
We realize that this is actually our daily obsession for a long, long time - which has become more prevalent since we now visit supermarkets more often than movie theaters! It was then that the idea of having a blog that we write together, to share about our daily frugal struggles, popped out into our heads.
We believe being frugal doesn't mean you need to live a static, risk-avoiding life constantly fearful of going out and spending money. On the contrary, we encourage smart spending, how to take advantage of the promotion, deals, and be able to have a fulfilling, happy trip home after a trip to the grocery store, knowing that you have spent exactly on the things that you want.
And it's not just about supermarket shopping - Sincerely Frugal looks forward to sharing with you our experience shopping frugally in restaurants, lifestyle stores, overseas travels, etc. We are excited to see how far these writings come forward.
So stay tuned, and spread the word!
Sincerely Frugal.

- Why is that potato peeler is cheaper than this model, while both are exactly the same type, just differs in color?
- What credit card should we use to pay for our groceries, knowing this supermarket belongs to the same company group with a certain bank?
- What kind of meat cut should we buy? Or should we just eat out in restaurant altogether - would it be cheaper?
